Bethany Wilburn Palmer

Bethany Wilburn Palmer, CPA, currently serves as the Lead Corporate Accountant at Viasat Inc., a position held since April 2021. Prior to this role, Bethany was an Audit Senior at Baker Tilly US after joining through the acquisition of Squar Milner, and worked as an Audit Staff Accountant at Considine & Considine. Bethany has extensive auditing experience across various industries, including 401k plans, construction, real estate, manufacturing, non-profit organizations, and restaurants. Earlier in the career, Bethany was employed as a Lower Elementary School Teacher at Montessori Children's School and a Primary School Teacher at Montessori School of Pensacola, focusing on the Montessori Method. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an International Montessori Teaching Diploma from the North American Montessori Center, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University.
