Charlotte Petrides

Charlotte Petrides is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Pre-Sales Engineering Director at Viasat since May 2023, overseeing a team of international Pre-Sales Engineers within the International Government Business Unit. Previously, Charlotte held the position of Director of Engineering at Ultra Intelligence & Communications, managing the Systems Engineering department from January 2019 to June 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Principal Systems Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer at MBDA, where Charlotte was the Functional Integration and Trials Lead Engineer on advanced precision programs. Additionally, Charlotte worked as a Project Verification and Test Engineer at e2v, contributing significantly to the project lifecycle, and started as a Space Imaging Graduate with notable involvement in projects for the European Space Agency. Charlotte holds a Master’s Degree in Physics from Royal Holloway, University of London, complemented by various roles in science education and outreach during academic tenure.
