Damon White

Damon White currently serves as Senior Manager of Data Network Engineering at Viasat since May 2023, overseeing IP Backbone Networks essential for connectivity across Satellite Access Stations and Data Centres. Prior to joining Viasat, Damon held the position of Senior Manager in Transport Network Service Engineering at Inmarsat from March 2021 until the company's acquisition by Viasat. Damon's extensive experience includes roles at Colt Technology Services, where responsibilities ranged from Technical Migration Manager to Head of Network Management Centre, emphasizing network optimisation and technology migrations. Earlier in their career, Damon worked at Colt Telecom Limited as an NMC Technician and served as a Telecommunications Operator in The Royal Corps of Signals, with notable contributions during military operations including the Gulf War and missions in Croatia and Bosnia. Damon's educational background includes attendance at The Park School in Rayleigh from 1983 to 1986.
