Gautam Sharma

Gautam Sharma is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as Managing Director for Viasat India since June 2023. Prior to this role, Gautam was Managing Director for Inmarsat India from April 2016 to October 2023. Gautam's career includes significant positions at Huawei, where responsibilities ranged from Account Director for the Asia Branch of Telenor Business Unit in Bangkok to overseeing government accounts in India. Notable earlier roles include Vice President and Country General Manager at Arasor Corporation, as well as Country Head of Sales at Midas Communication Technologies. Gautam holds a BE (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and an MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Digital & Telecom Management.
