Katie Timmons

Katie Timmons is an experienced professional with a diverse background in security and education management. Currently serving as a Senior Education Manager at Viasat Inc. since March 2017, Katie leads a team focused on delivering various educational experiences. Prior to this role, Katie worked at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems from July 2012 to March 2017 as a Contractor Program Security Officer, overseeing multiple DoD spaces and managing documentation for numerous contracts. Katie's experience also includes serving as a Senior Facilities Director at Salient CRGT from December 2008 to July 2012, where management of classified contracts and compliance with security standards was essential. Additionally, Katie began the career as a Security Specialist at CSC, managing security tasks for over 1500 global employees. Katie holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Business Management from California Baptist University.
