Lachon Cunningham

Lachon Cunningham is currently a Space Systems Solutions Architect at Viasat, specializing in technical oversight and encryption for secure space and ground segment solutions. Previous experience includes roles at The Aerospace Corporation as Associate Director of Advanced Cryptographic Capabilities and various positions in space crypto/cyber engineering. Lachon also served as a Space Systems Security Analyst at LinQuest, and as a Senior Systems Analyst at COLSA Corporation, providing support for the US Air Force. Prior to these roles, Lachon’s career with the US Air Force spanned over a decade, including positions such as Commander of Cyber Operations and Executive Officer. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management from Colorado Christian University and an Associate of Science in Information Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
