Lon Plourde

Lon Plourde has extensive experience in the technology and engineering sectors, currently serving as Sr. Director of Strategic Technology at Viasat Inc. since 1996, after initially holding the position of Director of Strategic Technology. Prior to Viasat, Lon Plourde worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at TV/COM International from September 1992 to February 1997, and at Diatek, Inc. from September 1989 to September 1992. Lon Plourde also gained mechanical engineering experience at General Instrument from October 1986 to September 1989 and at M/A-COM Linkabit from March 1985 to October 1986. Lon Plourde's academic background includes education from Arizona State University.
