Paul Rowlands

Paul Rowlands is an experienced Aero User Terminal Senior Systems Engineer with a career spanning over two decades in satellite communications and related technologies. Currently employed at Inmarsat, which was acquired by Viasat in May 2023, Paul is responsible for collaboration with aviation Ka-Band Satcom terminal integrators and manufacturers, overseeing design, development, and verification testing. Previous roles include Air to Ground Product Line Architect and SME Installation and Certification at Thales, where Paul managed technical architecture and provided extensive support for customer projects. Paul also served as an Account Manager for Livewire Connections and Telespazio, handling satellite communications solutions, project management, and technical sales. Education includes a Post Graduate Diploma from the University of Surrey and degrees from Loughborough University in Systems Engineering and Computing and Management.
