Randall S. Sparks

Randall S. Sparks, MEM is an experienced professional in product test engineering with a strong background in developing electrical and acoustic manufacturing test solutions for MEMS microphones in the semiconductor consumer electronics industry. Currently serving as the Director of Product Test Engineering at Viasat Inc. since July 2017, Randall has previously held roles as Senior Manager and Manager in the same department. Prior to Viasat, Randall was the Test Engineering Manager at Knowles Corporation, where notable accomplishments included driving value creation initiatives resulting in significant cost savings. Earlier experience includes serving as Lead Engineer at Tellabs Operations, Inc., focusing on design verification tests for digital cross-connect systems. Randall holds a Master of Engineering Management from Northwestern University, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and an Associate of Arts in Pre-Engineering from Evangel University.
