Raymundo Villar

Raymundo Villar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in market development and sales within the aviation and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as Director of Market Development for Business Aviation at Viasat since May 2023, following the acquisition of Inmarsat, Villar has previously held significant roles at Inmarsat, including Director of Market Development, Aviation, and Regional Director, Aviation for Latin America. Villar’s background includes positions as Regional Sales Director at Gogo, Senior Sales Manager at Honeywell Aerospace, and various managerial roles at EMS Aviation and TeleworX, among others. With a solid foundation in technical sales and business development, Villar has a track record of driving successful communications solutions across Latin America and has contributed to national communications networks for the Peruvian Government. Villar holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.
