Richard Abrahams

Richard Abrahams has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Richard is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer at Sprout since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Board Advisor at Chip starting in February 2019. Richard was also a Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer at UK CBD Distribution Ltd from December 2017.

Richard has a strong background in finance, having worked at PwC for several years. At PwC, they held various roles including Manager and Senior Associate in PwC Raise | Ventures, Transaction Services Manager for Financial Due Diligence, and Audit. Richard was also selected as a participant in Tomorrow's Business Leaders program at PwC UK.

Before joining PwC, Richard started their career as a Management Trainee at Lloyds Banking Group in September 2009. Richard also gained experience as a Summer Intern at Barclays Capital in 2007.

Richard Abrahams attended The Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School from 1994 to 2005. Richard then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics/Geography at the University of Birmingham, completing it between 2005 and 2008. In 2009, Richard enrolled at the ifs School of Finance and obtained a Diploma in Higher Education (DipHE) in Financial Markets and Management, which they completed in 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), where they achieved their ACA qualification with first-time passes.
