Qing Wang

Qing Wang is an experienced engineer and researcher with expertise in process development, fabrication of optical microstructures, and materials science. Since October 2018, Qing Wang has worked as a Process Development Engineer 2 at VIAVI Solutions, focusing on designing 3D microstructures using MATLAB and employing direct write grayscale lithography for microstructural fabrication. Qing Wang also gained valuable experience as a Physics Graduate Student at Rochester Institute of Technology, where diffraction gratings for solar sails were designed and thin film coatings applied. Prior roles include a Wafer Fab Operator at ON Semiconductor and various research assistant positions at the University of Central Florida and Georgetown University, where Qing Wang developed advanced semiconductor devices and conducted significant experiments in physics and materials engineering. Qing Wang holds a Master of Science in Physics from Rochester Institute of Technology and dual Bachelor degrees in Physics and Biotechnology from the University of Central Florida.
