Diana Piol

Diana Piol is a skilled researcher currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at VIB since February 2020. Previously, Diana held the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Università degli Studi di Padova from June 2018 to January 2020, and worked as a PhD Student at Università degli Studi di Trento from November 2014 to June 2018. Early career experiences include a Research Internship at KU Leuven in early 2014 and a Student Mentor role at University of Trento in 2013. Diana's academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomolecular Sciences from Università di Trento, obtained in 2018, a Master's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biotechnology from the same university in 2014, and a Bachelor's degree in Biomolecular Sciences and Technologies, completed in 2012.
