Geert Bonamie

Geert Bonamie is a Web & Video Expert at VIB since April 2020, with extensive experience in e-learning and educational technology. Previously, Geert served as E-learning Lead in the IT Department at Ghent University from March 2003 to September 2019, where responsibilities included setting faculty e-learning policies and advising on technology implementation in education. Geert also contributed to the development of an online writing platform and held multiple teaching and research roles at Ghent University and various organizations. Additional experience includes positions as an E-learning Developer at Asurion, Vice Chairman of Let's Learn IT and Rubicone, and roles in language instruction. Geert holds a Master’s Degree in Dutch and English Language and Literature and additional qualifications in teacher training and Italian from Ghent University.
