Kim de Ruyck

Kim De Ruyck is an experienced Operations and Project Manager at VIB, specializing in daily operations and personnel management since May 2016. Responsibilities include enhancing operational performance and leading projects such as ELIXIR Belgium, where Kim serves as a Deputy Head of Node and participates in strategic planning. Prior roles include Senior Researcher at Research Foundation Flanders, focusing on multi-disciplinary projects and mentoring junior researchers, as well as Senior Scientist and Researcher at Ghent University. Kim also engaged in cultural exchange through the Rotary International program and completed a research internship at CropDesign. Education includes degrees from Ghent University and ongoing studies in an Executive Masters program.
