Sarah Geurs

Sarah Geurs is a Technology Expert at VIB since January 2022 and has been a Doctoral Researcher at Ghent University and KU Leuven since January 2021 and February 2016, respectively. Previous experience includes roles as a Visiting Worker at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute from February 2016 to February 2020, a PhD Student at INSERM U1167 Flylab from February to December 2016, and a Thesis Student at IRC Ghent from November 2013 to June 2015, focusing on the development of cancer models in Xenopus using TALEN and CRISPR/Cas genome modification techniques. Sarah Geurs holds a Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences with a specialization in Genetics from Ghent University, completed in 2015.
