Saskia Lippens

Saskia Lippens has extensive experience in biotechnology and project management, currently serving as the Deputy Technology Director and Sr. Project Manager of the VIB Core Facilities Program at VIB since October 2014. Lippens leads the VIB BioImaging Core in Ghent and has held various positions within VIB, including Head of the BioImaging Core and Staff Scientist. Prior roles include postdoctoral researcher and Junior Faculty Member at institutions such as UGent, FWO, and the University of Lausanne. Lippens holds a Ph.D. in Sciences with a focus on Biotechnology from Ghent University and is currently pursuing studies in Innovation Management at Vlerick Business School. Educational background also includes a Master in Biotechnology and a Bachelor in Biology from Ghent University.
