Wouter de Broeck

Wouter De Broeck is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in sustainability and communications. Currently serving as the Sustainability Coordinator at VIB since September 2023 and a Communication Expert at MONTIS since January 2023, Wouter contributes to key initiatives in nature conservation in Portugal. Wouter is also the Founder and Co-Editor of NU review, an occasional journal that integrates various artistic and literary forms. Previously, Wouter held positions such as Sustainability Manager at Alsico Group and Sustainability and Communications Manager at Alsico, focusing on sustainable workwear solutions. With a background in freelance journalism spanning over a decade, Wouter has worked with notable publications like MO* magazine and Knack Magazine, while also specializing in sustainable development and communications roles. Wouter's educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Environmental Economics and Management from FEP U. Porto and further qualifications in Sustainability Leadership from KU Leuven.
