Robin Thompson

Robin Thompson has a diverse work experience in the credit union industry. They began their career in 1986 as a Teller, Lending, and Accounting employee at Oakland County Credit Union. They then moved to Novi Community Credit Union, where they served as Vice President of Operations, responsible for managing various departments and also held roles as Human Resources Officer and Compliance Officer. They later joined Michigan Catholic Credit Union as the Vice President of Finance, where they handled financial statements, budget projections, and presented performance results to management and the Board of Directors. Robin then joined Cornerstone Community Financial as Executive Vice President, overseeing operations and managing a team of 50 staff members across multiple offices. Following their time at Cornerstone, they joined Oakland County Credit Union again as Vice President Retail and Delivery. Most recently, Robin has worked at Vibe Credit Union, starting as Vice President of Member Experience, then as Senior Vice President, and currently holds the title of Chief Operating Officer.

Robin Thompson completed a CEO Institute 1 program at The Wharton School in 2023. From 2008 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Science in Management at Walsh College. Prior to that, between 1991 and 1996, Robin obtained a Bachelor of Accountancy with a major in Accounting, also from Walsh College.
