Steve Pepple

Steve Pepple has a diverse work experience in product design and engineering. Steve began their career in 2007 as Creative Director for TrustBearer Labs, where they were responsible for software visual design and presentation-layer functionality. In 2010, they joined VeriSign as a User Experience Engineer and then moved to Symantec as a Software Engineer and User Experience Lead. In 2013, they became Principal Product Designer at MobileIron and in 2015, they joined OpenGov Inc. as a Design Lead and Product Designer. In 2018, they became a Design Consultant for their own company, Pepple Consulting, and Co-Founder, Head of Product for VibeMap, a city discovery app. Additionally, they were Vice President of the Board for San Francisco Transit Riders and a 2015 Creative Code Fellow for Gray Area Foundation For The Arts.

Steve Pepple attended Drexel University from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Master of Science in Information Science with a field of study in Information Systems. In 2012, they completed a Certificate of Completion from Cooper U in Interaction Design. Steve also completed a Certificate of Completion from Udacity/Stanford Online Courses in Computer Science in 2012. Prior to that, they attended Purdue University Fort Wayne from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a B.A. in English and Journalism. Additionally, in 2009 they obtained a Certificate of Completion in Introduction to Artificial Intelligence from Udacity.
