Steven Mastandrea

Steven Mastandrea has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Steven started their career at SBC as a Software Developer from June 1994 to December 1995. Steven then joined Arasys Technologies as a Director of Software Development and System Operations, where they worked from an unspecified start date until 2004. In 2005, they became a Software Architect Manager at DBS Communications until December 2007. From December 2007 to April 2018, they served as the Director of Software Engineering/Architecture at Vibes. Steven then assumed the role of Sr. Director - Architecture at Vibes from January 2018 to August 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Vibes President Engineering - Connect starting from July 2022. Additionally, they have a background in emergency services, having served as a Paid-On-Call Lieutenant and EMT-B with the Mundelein Fire Department from November 1998 to March 2011. Steven was also a member of the Lake County Underwater Rescue Team and an American Heart Association CPR Instructor, with certifications in Firefighter III, FAE, and HazMat Ops.

Steven Mastandrea completed their high school education at Buffalo Grove High School, from 1988 to 1992, receiving a High School Diploma. Steven then pursued further education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earning a degree in Computer Engineering from 1993 to 1995.
