Ashwini Kumar has extensive work experience in quality management systems, software development, and digital transformation. Ashwini has worked as a Principal Consultant at Garani Consultants, where they developed and implemented robust QMS frameworks and provided strategic guidance for continuous improvement. Ashwini has also served as the Lead, Product Quality at Better Therapeutics. Additionally, Ashwini has held various volunteer positions at Vibha, including Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director, and Director of Volunteer Relations. Ashwini has also worked as the Head of Digital Transformation at RISE Infinity Foundation, where they utilized their expertise in software engineering and risk management to optimize operations and evaluate impact. Prior to these roles, Ashwini gained experience in software quality management, including as a Software Quality Manager at IZiel Healthcare and as a Sr. Software Engineer at Boston Scientific. Ashwini began their career as an Intern at L&T Infotech and later worked as a Project Engineer at Wipro Technologies in the medical devices field.
Ashwini Kumar completed their High School education at Sri Kumarans Public School in Bangalore. They then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Medical Electronics from Visvesvaraya Technological University. After that, Ashwini pursued an MBA in Operations Management from the University of St. Thomas. In 2023, they participated in the altMBA program. Since our inception in 1991, Vibha has raised and disbursed $13 million and supported more than 250 projects in India and 10 projects in the US. As a result, Vibha has been able to reach out to and provide opportunities for over 300,000 underprivileged children. Currently, Vibha supports 30 projects in India and 7 projects in the US. Vibha's mission is to educate, empower and enable every individual who wishes to make a positive difference in the life of the underprivileged child. Vibha is almost entirely a volunteer-driven organization and is essentially a semi virtual organization with 2200 volunteers in USA and India.
