Jad Abi-Samra

Jad Abi-Samra is the founder and CEO of Vibly, where they work to help people achieve better well-being through personalized AI insights and dedicated human support. They led the Platform Engineering division at Clear Street in 2021, overseeing the Core Platform Team and helping grow the team from 3 to 15 engineers while building scalable systems for the core business. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Airbnb (2015-2017), including Senior Engineer, Tech Lead, and Platform Architect, contributing to Airbnb's Kafka-based Publish-Subscribe system, SpinalTap Change Data Capture service, and internationalization infrastructure. They earned a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Computer Engineering and a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Computer Engineering from the University of Melbourne, and also served as an Academic Tutor there and volunteered with the United Nations.
