Nikhil Patinge

Nikhil Patinge has a diverse work experience spanning various government departments and private firms. Nikhil began their career as a Software Engineer at AurionPro Solutions in 2010. In 2011, they joined Oracle as a Senior Consultant and worked there until 2015. Nikhil then joined IMA Management and Technology as a Consultant, where they served clients in the telecommunications and higher education sectors, leading their data and digital transformation initiatives. In 2018, they joined the Department of Justice and Community Safety in Victoria as a Lead for Business Intelligence & Data Analytics. In 2019, they moved to the Department of Premier and Cabinet (Vic) as the Lead for Data, Insights, and Analytics. In 2020, they became the Chief Data Officer at the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions, and later also took on the role of Director for Data & Analytics. In 2022, they moved back to the Department of Premier and Cabinet (Vic) and held the position of Director for the WoVG Data Integration (API Capability) Service. Currently, in 2023, they are serving as the Director for the same role at the Department of Government Services.

Nikhil Patinge completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai from 2005 to 2010. In 2022, they also attended the MIT Sloan Executive Education program for the Executive Digital Savvy Program. In 2022-2023, Nikhil participated in the Leadership Program - Leading through Challenging times at AGSM @ UNSW Business School. Nikhil has additional certifications in various areas such as Power BI, ScrumMaster, and PRINCE2.
