Austin Berg serves as a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Vicarious Surgical Inc. since September 2022. Prior to this role, Austin held various positions at Medtronic, including Senior Materials Engineer and Advanced Manufacturing Materials Engineer II, focusing on the design and validation of the Evolut FX TAVR delivery system. Austin's experience also includes internships at Covestro and Medtronic, alongside research assistant roles at Carnegie Mellon University, where contributions included exploring fiber porosity for thoracic artificial lung development and developing protein scaffolds for cardiac tissue engineering. Austin holds a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in both Biomedical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
