Michael Varieur has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Michael is currently the Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering at Vicarious Surgical Inc. Starting in 2022, they manage the advanced manufacturing engineering department. Before joining Vicarious Surgical, they worked at Integra LifeSciences as a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Product Management from October 2017 to September 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Manager, Codman Neuro Supply Chain Product Management at DePuy Synthes Companies of Johnson & Johnson from December 2015 to October 2017. At DePuy Mitek, they had two roles as a Principal Engineer from January 2012 to December 2015 and as an R&D Director from October 2009 to December 2011. Lastly, they started their career at DePuy Spine in May 2005 as an R&D Manager and stayed there until October 2009.
Michael Varieur has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
