Olivier Chotel

Olivier Chotel is an experienced professional in the cement industry, currently serving as Expert Ciment at Groupe Vicat since February 2022. Prior to this role, Olivier held the position of Directeur des performances at Sococim Industries from October 2018 to September 2022. Olivier's career at Groupe Vicat began in March 2008 as a Project Manager, where significant achievements included increasing the use of alternative fuels to 70% and obtaining ISO 50001 certification for the plant. Olivier also served as Process Engineer and Head Production Manager at Jambyl Cement, successfully initiating operations from the ground up with a production capacity of 3500t/d, exceeding design expectations. Additionally, Olivier led a team as Automation Manager, overseeing the revamping of HMI and automation for the Lebec plant, and previously worked at Vicat Group from May 2000 to May 2008 as Responsable Projets Informatiques Industriels Groupe, developing the software "Cimlab" for regulating raw meal across all plants.
