Reine Karam Cabrerizo currently serves as Responsable de site R&D and Ingénieur recherche/développement at VICAT since September 2021. Prior to this, Reine held the position of Ingénieur recherche/développement at IMT Lille Douai from January 2020 to September 2021, focusing on the development of biosourced blocks including hemp and flax concrete. Reine also worked as a Doctorant chercheur at Centrale Nantes from December 2016 to November 2019, where research centered on the valorization of dredged sediments in alkali-activated materials for civil engineering applications, contributing to scientific literature with publications and conferences. Earlier experience includes a research engineering role at Mines Douai investigating radioactive contamination of cementitious materials and an internship at Université Paris-Saclay, INRAE, AgroParisTech in the evaluation of contaminant migration from metallic packaging to food. Academically, Reine holds a Doctorate in Civil Engineering from Centrale Nantes and multiple degrees in chemistry and industrial analysis from Lebanese University.
