Phillip Porter

Phillip Porter is an experienced logistics and supply chain professional currently serving as General Manager of Operations at Victorian Chemical Company (Vicchem) since May 2017. With a strong background in logistics management, Phillip has successfully implemented efficiencies and cost-saving measures through effective partnerships with logistics providers and the establishment of Service Level Agreements. Before Vicchem, Phillip held various roles including Logistics Project Manager positions at Carman's Fine Foods and the Australian Electoral Commission, where critical improvements to distribution processes were achieved. Phillip's extensive experience also includes significant roles at Australian Paper managing national logistics, and at PaperlinX, where an $87 million logistics budget was overseen. Phillip holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Chemistry from the University of Tasmania.
