Emily Czech

Emily Czech is an experienced language professional with a strong background in translation and subtitling. Currently serving as an Independent Contractor for VICE Media since April 2018, Emily specializes in creating English subtitles for Spanish audio and video, while also editing auto-transcribed captions. As a Freelance Translator and Subtitler since October 2017, Emily has worked on diverse projects, including translating a yearly report for the Montevideo Department of Culture and a play for a Spanish author. Emily founded Small Talk Montevideo in January 2015, offering engaging conversation-based English classes in casual settings, and previously worked as an ESL Teacher for Plan Ceibal, teaching English to primary school students in Uruguay via videoconferencing.
