Kathleen Phelan

Kathleen Phelan is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in film production accounting. Currently serving as Manager of Film Production Accounting at Vice Media, LLC since January 2018, Kathleen previously held the position of Director of Production Finance at BET from July 2008 to October 2015, where oversight of financial records for music specials and weekly programming was a primary responsibility. Kathleen also worked as a Production Accountant for Disney on projects such as "Johnny and the Sprites" and "Imagination Movers," and has held similar roles for "The Jane Pauley Show," "The John Walsh Show," and at MCA during the early 1990s. Holding an M.F.A. in Theatre Directing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with a B.S. in Speech and Drama from the State University of New York at Fredonia, Kathleen combines a solid educational background with a proven track record in production finance.
