Samson Yap

Samson Yap is a legal professional with extensive experience in commercial and media law, currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel for VIRTUE at VICE Media since August 2021. Prior roles include Legal Counsel for VICE, Refinery29, and i-D, as well as a lawyer in the Commercial and Media & Strategic Litigation Teams at Which? from October 2019 to July 2021. Samson began a legal career at Hausfeld as a trainee solicitor, advancing from paralegal roles in commercial and competition litigation. Additional experience includes time as a trainee solicitor at Which? and paralegal positions at Slater and Gordon Lawyers, Matthew Arnold & Baldwin LLP, and Clyde & Co. Samson holds an LPC from the College of Law and a BA in Economics and Law from the University of Leicester. Early education was completed at Watford Grammar School for Boys.
