Jason Tarasek

Jason Tarasek is currently serving as counsel at Vicente LLP, managing the firm's Minnesota office and assisting clients in the hemp, cannabinoid, medical marijuana, and adult-use cannabis sectors across the Upper Midwest region. Prior to this role, Jason founded Minnesota Cannabis Law in February 2022, providing legal services in the same markets after establishing the name in 2018. Jason has a robust background in various legal environments, having worked as an attorney and partner at Thompson Tarasek Lee-O'Halloran PLLC and as a shareholder/attorney at Hammargren & Meyer, PA, focusing on construction litigation and representing homeowners and contractors. Jason's earlier experience includes positions at Best & Flanagan, LLP, and the US Army Corps of Engineers, with a legal education from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
