Johan van Vlaanderen has over 25 years of experience in the Supply Chain and IT industries. Johan began their career in 1996 as a Production/Engineering Lead at ECO Ceramics BV. In 1998, they became a Consultant at FAIR Information Services BV, where they worked on business process improvement projects and Oracle Manufacturing ERP/MRP system implementations. In 2002, they joined Canon Europe NV as an IT Business Analyst. In 2003, they became a Program Manager - Supply Chain Systems at Biogen Idec, managing global project related activities to Oracle ERP systems in a GxP environment. From 2008 to 2015, they were at Biomet, where they held various roles including Global Supply Chain Manager - NPI, Supply Manager EMEA - Spine & Trauma, and Program Manager, Global Supply Chain Center. In 2021, they joined ViCentra as Global Supply Chain Director, managing all supply chain activities for a Medical Device scale up launching the world smallest insulin delivery pump.
Johan van Vlaanderen attended HZ University of Applied Sciences from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a BSc in Mechanical Engineering. Johan then went on to attend De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1997 to 1998, where they obtained a BSc in Business Administration, Post Graduate. Finally, Johan attended Nyenrode Business University from 2010 to 2011 for Change Management. Additionally, they hold a Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS.
