Alex Swanson

Alex Swanson is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Director and FP&A Lead at Vicinity Energy since August 2022. Prior to this role, Alex held key positions at Cushman & Wakefield, including FP&A Lead and Senior Finance Manager, where responsibilities included managing multiple departments' overhead expenses and collaborating with executive leadership on budget development. Earlier, at EMC, significant contributions were made as a Program Manager in both Finance and Customer Service Innovation, leading teams in data analysis and project management, while also delivering impactful business intelligence solutions. Alex began a career in financial management as Business Manager for Colby Echo and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Colby College, along with a Masters Certificate in Business Intelligence from Villanova University.
