Rachel J. Thuerk

Rachel Thuerk currently serves as the Director of Risk Management at Vicinity Energy since January 2020. Prior to this role, Rachel held the position of Associate Director of Insurance and Risk Programs at Harvard University from June 2013 to January 2020, where responsibilities included developing university-wide risk management strategies and effectively communicating risk financing and management approaches. Rachel's earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Associate at Mark Edward Partners from September 2010 to May 2013 and at Frank Crystal & Company from May 2006 to September 2010, contributing significantly to the Commercial M&A Due Diligence team. Rachel holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University and an M.S. in Risk Management from St. John's University, The Peter J. Tobin College of Business.
