Kevin Schlegel

Kevin Schlegel is a Machine Learning Computer Vision Scientist specializing in research and innovation at Vicon since August 2022. Prior experience includes a Research Fellow position at University College London, focusing on combining rough path theory with computer vision and deep learning to analyze human movement from data. Kevin also worked as a Research Associate at The Alan Turing Institute, where the application of rough path theory to machine learning for human action recognition from video sequences was explored. Additional roles include Academic Assistant and Teaching Assistant at St John's College and University of Oxford, respectively, as well as software development positions at RugaSport GmbH and Energieheld GmbH. Kevin holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, with a Master's degree from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor's degree from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
