Applied Biomechanics Engineer at Vicon

Louis Cicchino has a diverse work experience in the fields of sports science, coaching, and biomechanics. Louis started their career as a Personal Trainer and Triathlon Coach in 2015, while also interning as a Sports Performance Specialist at Next Level Sports Performance and Physical Therapy. In 2018, they worked as a Swim Coach at SwimLabs Swim School, where they utilized video analysis to improve swimmers' stroke mechanics.

In 2019, Louis served as a Sports Science Intern at the Ultimate Fighting Championship, where they performed physiological monitoring and testing on over 100 athletes. Louis also handled data analysis and reporting tasks for the coaches and teams.

In 2020, they worked as a Sports Science Intern at Exonetics, gaining further experience in the field. Currently, they hold the role of Applied Biomechanics Engineer at Vicon, which they started in 2021.

Additionally, Louis has entrepreneurial experience, as they owned and served as the Head Coach of Accelero Endurance, a coaching business specializing in endurance sports. Louis also worked as a Personal Trainer at Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2014.

Louis Cicchino completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Human Performance & Sport: Adult Fitness & Exercise Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver between 2012 and 2015. Louis then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomechanics from the University of Northern Colorado from 2018 to 2020.
