Katie K. has an extensive work experience in the field of victim support and criminal justice. Katie currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Victim Support since 2023. Prior to this, they held the same position at the Office of the Victims' Commissioner from 2021 to 2023. Before that, they were the Chief Executive of The Independent Custody Visiting Association from 2015 to 2021, where they worked closely with the board of directors to develop the organization's mission and vision, secured funding, and managed day-to-day operations. Katie's career also includes a role as a Senior Policy Officer at the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey from 2012 to 2015, where they led national and regional commissioning of support services for crime victims and provided policy leadership to the Ministry of Justice.

Katie K. completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Philosophy and Politics from the University of Bristol in 2003. Katie later pursued a Diploma in Business Administration and Management from Oxford Brookes University, graduating in 2009.
