Susannah Rooney

Susannah Rooney currently serves as Deputy CEO, Chief Operating Officer, and Company Secretary at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute since March 2020. Previously, Susannah held the position of Corporate Legal & Company Secretary at NOGA Holdings Pty Limited from July 2016 to December 2019 and worked as General Manager Commercial at Sub161 Pty Ltd between 2012 and 2016. Susannah's extensive experience also includes serving as Executive Director at Table4Five Pty Ltd, Senior Associate in Banking and Finance at Allens, and In House Counsel for Syndications at The Fuji Bank, Limited during a secondment from Clifford Chance LLP, where Susannah was a Senior Lawyer. Early career experience includes working as a Lawyer in Commercial Litigation at Webeck Farland Pender. Academia includes attendance at the Australian Institute of Company Directors and The College of Law Australia, alongside earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Marketing) and Laws from UNSW.
