Margaux Soland

Margaux Soland is a seasoned retail professional with substantial experience in buying and product development. Currently serving as a Senior Buyer at the Victoria and Albert Museum since March 2020, Margaux previously held the position of Retail Buying Manager at the Barbican Centre from September 2013 to March 2020, where responsibilities included driving sales through product sourcing and range planning for both the main shop and the Barbican Art Gallery shop. Earlier roles at the Barbican included Buyer and Junior Buyer, focused on creating bespoke ranges for exhibitions and developing relationships with emerging design talent. Margaux's career began with a temporary role at the British Film Institute during the London Film Festival. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Design and Visual Communications from the Royal College of Art and a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design/Illustration from the London College of Communication.
