Denis Ceban

Denis Ceban's work experience includes holding the position of Director of Risk Management at Victoriabank starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at maib, where they held various roles such as Head of Modelling and Statistic Division, Risk Committee Secretary, Interim Head of Modelling and Statistic Division, Modeling Specialist, and Credit Risk Analyst, from October 2016 to September 2022. Before joining maib, Denis also worked at the National Bank of Moldova, where they held the positions of Principal Economist and Junior Economist from September 2014 to November 2016.

Denis Ceban has a diverse education history. In 2011, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Banking from Academia de Studii Economice din Moldova. Denis furthered their studies at the same institution and in 2014, they earned a Master's degree in Corporate Finance and Insurance.

In 2018, Denis received a certificate of completion in Risk Manager from the Romanian Banking Institute. The following year, they pursued a certification program in Risk Management in Banking at the House of Training - ATTF.

Denis also holds several additional certifications. In 2019, they completed a SQL Fundamentals course offered by SoloLearn. In 2020, they obtained a certificate in HTML Course, also from SoloLearn. Furthermore, they acquired a certificate in the 2022 Complete Phyton Bootcamp From Zero to Hero in Python at Udemy by the end of 2022. Their most recent certification is in Credit Risk Modeling in Python, which they obtained in September 2023, also from Udemy.
