Mark Horrigan has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as the Director of Hospital in the Home & Virtual Care at Austin Health since 1997, along with various roles including Founding Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Service and Director of Cardiac Catheterization Services. As an Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne, Mark participates in clinical trials and research focusing on molecular diagnostics and new care models. In addition, Mark holds the position of Cardiac Clinical Lead at Safer Care Victoria since 2021, advising on healthcare learning networks. Mark's earlier roles include consulting as a cardiologist for the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine, practicing as a cardiologist and director at GenesisCare, and serving as a founding partner of HeartCare Victoria. Mark has a background in interventional cardiology from the Cleveland Clinic and has held significant positions at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Concord Hospital Health System. Mark completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Melbourne.
