Heather Keeney has a diverse and extensive work experience in various marketing and editorial roles. Heather started their career as a Social Media Assistant/Blog Contributor at Pierce Mattie PR in 2008. Heather then went on to work as an Eye Desk Intern at WWD and interned as an Intern to the Market Editor at ELLE Magazine in 2009. In 2010, they interned as an InStyle.com Editorial Intern at Time Inc. Following that, Heather worked as a Freelance at InStyle.com for a short period in 2011.

From 2011 to 2015, Heather served as an Assistant Editor at People StyleWatch Magazine before joining Hearst Magazines as an Associate Features Editor from 2015 to 2016. Heather also worked as a Freelance Writer, Editor, Copywriter, and Branded Content Editor for various media outlets and brands from 2016 to 2017.

Heather then joined The Foundry @ Meredith Corp as a Senior Copywriter (Freelance) in 2017 and later became an Associate Director at The Foundry from 2017 to 2018. Heather then transitioned to Victoria's Secret, where they held the roles of Lead, Content Strategy, Beauty from 2018 to 2021 and currently works as the Director of Marketing, Brand Strategy, starting in September 2021. In their roles at Victoria's Secret, Heather was responsible for building strategic foundations for marketing initiatives and campaigns, driving engagement across marketing channels, and developing brand-elevating storytelling.

Throughout their career, Heather has demonstrated strong skills in marketing strategy, content planning, asset creation, and campaign performance analysis.

Heather Keeney obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and Marketing Communication from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2010.
