Murali Sundararajan

Murali Sundararajan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Murali began their career as a Training Coordinator at Informatics Computer Systems in 1990, followed by roles as Deputy Manager of Training at Brilliant's Computer Center and Group Head of Information Systems at Sterling Holiday Resorts India Ltd. In 1997, they joined HCL Technologies as a Project Leader. From 1998 to 2013, they worked at Lowe's Home Improvement as the Director of Tech. Architecture & Integration.

In 2013, Murali joined Victoria's Secret, initially serving as the AVP of Enterprise Architecture and Innovation before being promoted to VP. Murali then held the positions of Managing Director/VP of EA & Innovation at MGBSI and SVP of Digital, Enterprise Architecture, and Innovation at Victoria's Secret. In their most recent role at Victoria's Secret, they became the EVP and CIO, responsible for the company's digital transformation initiatives.

Murali also serves as a Board Member for ANSR and Victoria's Secret India Private Limited, and as a Board Advisor for MITRAz Foundation.

Murali Sundararajan holds a Digital Marketing Certification from Yale School of Management (2020). Murali also obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Kennedy Western University (aka Warren National University) (2002-2004). In 2007, they earned an ITIL V3 Foundation Certification from Pink Elephant and a Six Sigma Green Belt from Villanova University. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Commerce (B Com) degree from the University of Madras (1986-1989). In terms of additional certifications, Murali obtained the NACD CERT Certificate in Cyber-Risk Oversight from NACD in 2024. Murali has also pursued professional development programs, such as Transformation Leadership Development from The Feld Group Institute (2020), NACD Virtual Director Professionalism Certification from NACD (2021), and NACD Climate Continuous Learning Cohort from NACD (2022). Additionally, they are currently working towards a CERT Certification in Cybersecurity Oversight from Carnegie Mellon University, expected to be completed in 2023-2024.
