Jahmal Newton

Jahmal Newton has an extensive work experience that includes roles in various companies. Starting in 2012, they worked as an Information Technology Ambassador at TAP, where they collaborated with college, high school, and middle school students to enhance their interest and understanding in IT. Jahmal then joined Georgia Gwinnett College in 2013, where they held multiple positions, including Junior Software Developer, User Support Services Student Technician, S3 Student Instructor, Human Resources Student Assistant, and Georgia Gwinnett College Tech Camp Assistant. In 2016, they worked as a Consultation Agent at Geek Squad before moving on to Agency Matrix in 2017. At Agency Matrix, Jahmal worked as a Software Developer and later as a Project Manager. In 2019, they became the Technology Coordinator and IT Specialist at Victory Church before being promoted to Lead Systems Administrator in 2020. In their role at Victory Church, Jahmal managed a network spread across four church campuses, supported over 200 staff and 250 PCs & Macs, and implemented innovative automated approaches to enhance productivity.

Jahmal Newton attended Clarkston High School from 2007 to 2011. After completing high school, they pursued Information Technology with a focus on Software Development at Georgia Gwinnett College from 2011 to 2016.
