Michael McShane serves as the Facilities Manager at Victory Services Club since November 2022. Previously, Michael held the position of Engineering Manager at Great Scotland Yard - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt from June 2019 to October 2022, where responsibilities included opening the hotel and overseeing the engineering department through the challenges of the COVID pandemic. Additional experience includes roles such as Engineering Supervisor at CBRE for the BNY Mellon contract, Engineering Supervisor at Andaz London Liverpool Street, and Floor Manager at Park Plaza Hotel. Earlier in the career, Michael worked as Assistant Manager at Hotel Russell, Bar Manager at Hampton by Hilton London Docklands, and various positions in bartending and conference services, beginning as a Conference Porter at Harrington Hall Hotel. Education includes an ILM Level 2 qualification from New City College London.

Victory Services Club
Victory Services Club was established in 1907 and is a tri-service, all ranks Military Members’ Club for currently serving and retired members of the Armed Forces and their families. The Club has two charitable objectives: to provide a place for serving and ex-serving personnel to meet; and to support serving or ex-serving personnel who face hardship or distress, including those wounded as a result of operational service. We are very proud of the Respite & Welfare Breaks that contribute to the second charitable objective. The Club offers a truly unique Club atmosphere offering excellent service and value for money, impressive accommodation, varied dining options and events. Sir Winston Churchill, said, “ The Victory Club for ex-servicemen given by the nation as a memorial to fallen comrades and as a tribute to those who returned, stands guardian of the common treasures and memories of friendship and brave deeds”.
