Waqas Mahmood

Waqas Mahmood is a seasoned project management professional with extensive experience in telecommunications and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Service Delivery Specialist at VicTrack since August 2021, Waqas previously held roles as Project Manager at Alpha Solutions Australia, where notable projects included Telstra 5G upgrades and OPTUS site modernization, and Junior Project Manager at Fulton Hogan, managing a significant NBN FTTC infrastructure project. Waqas further developed expertise at Ooredoo Qatar and Huawei, overseeing major national broadband initiatives, complemented by early project engineering experience at Votel Solutions. Waqas holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information and Technology.
