Asset Integrity & Standards Lead at Victrex

Alex Bale has a diverse work experience, starting as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Addison Engineering from January 2007 to June 2008. Then, they progressed to become a Project Engineer at the same company from June 2008 to August 2012. From August 2012 to October 2016, Alex worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Victrex. They then advanced to the role of Plant Engineer - Polymer Production, where they worked until October 2019. Subsequently, they served as the Plant Engineer - Asset Management, Reliability & Standards at Victrex from October 2019 to March 2023. Following this, they briefly held the position of Lead Mechanical Engineer from February 2023 to June 2023 before taking on their current role at Victrex as the Asset Integrity & Standards Lead.

Alex Bale completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Lancaster University from 2002 to 2006. In June 2016, they also obtained the certification of Chartered Engineer from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
