Dr. Siren Tan

Dr. Siren Tan's work experience includes various roles in different companies. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Physical Chemist at Unilever R&D Port Sunlight. From 2010 to 2013, they were an Application Development Project Leader at LANXESS, where they were responsible for deploying a new business strategy and developing differentiated additives solutions. Dr. Siren then joined Addivant as a Global Application Development Group Leader from 2013 to 2015, leading the central application development team and collaborating with the marketing team to create value propositions. At The Lubrizol Corporation, they held multiple roles from 2015 to 2018, including Regional Application Manager, Global Application Manager, and EMEAI Technical Service Manager & Global Quality Assurance Manager. During this time, they successfully led the development and market positioning of new products and transformed the central application and technical service team. From 2017 to 2018, they were a PRA advisory non-executive board member at PR World. Currently, they are working as the Global Strategic Technology Manager at Victrex, where they are responsible for global strategic new business development, business model design, technology incubation, supply chain establishment, and market penetration for several strategic industrial sectors.

Dr. Siren Tan's education history is as follows:

- Dr. Tan completed a Diploma of Education in Biology at Wuhan University from 2001 to 2023.

- From 2000 to 2004, Dr. Tan earned a BEng in Polymer Materials Science & Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology.

- Dr. Tan then pursued further studies at The University of Manchester. From 2004 to 2005, Dr. Tan obtained an MSc in Polymer Materials Science & Engineering.

- Dr. Tan continued academic pursuits at The University of Manchester and completed a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from 2006 to 2009.

- In 2016 and 2017, Dr. Tan achieved a Global Certification in Organizational Leadership from Lubrizol.

- Dr. Tan is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, which is expected to be completed from 2022 to 2023.

- Additionally, Dr. Tan is expected to undertake an Executive MBA in Luxury Industries & Brand Management at SDA Bocconi in 2023.
